How important Handball in Montenegro is you can see trough full spectators area at Sports Hall Moraca when Women Handball Club Buducnost play Championship league or when our national teams (man’s and women’s) plays theirs matches. Country with less than 700.000 inhabitants participated in men and women European and World Championships, women team won 2nd place at the Olympic Games in London 2012 and same year title of the best team at the European Championship. In addition, we are very proud on our last result in Handball and that is 3rd place in women’s Euro 2022. With clubs such as Buducnost and Lovcen, with strong national team in cadets, juniors and seniors we can call ourselves as handball nation.
